We worked on them for like 5 hours! We did 5 bouquets, 5 boutineers, and 3 coursauges and a throwing bouquet. Whew!

BTW-That is my friend, Andrea's arm in the photos! LOL!

Wedding Update and more

Is anyone still out there or are we all on FaceBook?  We are all ready for next week. The wedding is on the 8th and even though I'm looking forward to it, I'm ready for it to be over! LOL!

Work has been good for Buster and me. We are both busy and seem to have too much to do and too little time to do it.

 Mom is taking a leave of absence from Wal Mart for a month. Her RA is giving her fits and I think the time off will help. She's doing better and is on facebook alot! Drop her an email and say HI

The kids are doing good in school. Nick says he likes all of his classes and Madison seems to really like hers. I've ordered their Homecoming Tshirts for the game. It looks like there's enough Texans here in Williston that the football team is playing better this year. LOL!

Excitement in North Dakota!

We'll send out invitations just to let you guys have one (since I know no one is able to come), but I wanted to announce it here....

Eden Elizabeth Boda and Mathew Steven Derry are engaged and getting married on Eden's birthday, Sept. 8th. The wedding will take place under the gazebo at Harmon Park in Williston.

We haven't set a reception site yet, but should by week's end. I'll update you all when I know. I did, however, get the cake ordered, so that is something!

Old news

This is old news now, but I don't know if y'all ever got to see a photo of Nathan graduating in June. Plus, I figure it's never too late for some bragging! :)

Nathan graduated in less than a year from the very prestigious University of Chicago with a Master's in history. His GPA was super high and he received very high remarks on his thesis. And, he was by far the most handsome graduate UofC has ever seen.

Candy, Steve, Rachel, Matt, Owen, and Isla came all the way up for the festivities. Steve took some really adorable pictures of their Chicago trip--don't let him hold out on you! But here's a very quick sneak peak of some of the cuteness:

I can't wait until they come back again! We had a terrible experience with bed bugs right before their visit, so our move out of graduate student housing had been delayed. When they visited we were still in the process of getting everything moved over to our new place, then Nate got sick, so we weren't the best of hosts. But we still had a blast! Next time we'll be totally equipped for the full Chi-town experience.

Now you may be asking yourself, "What has our boy genius been doing since graduation?" Researching the inner workings of the Chicago hot dog, of course!

Hee, hee....that was on a visit to the Chicago History Museum (which is very cool!). Nate is looking for work in a horrible economy, but we remain optimistic that he will find something. I really believe that he is capable of doing anything he sets his mind to. In the meantime, we're trying to get some summer fun in.
