Eden's boyfriend of over a year proposed to her last night and she said YES!!!
No other details as of yet,but last I heard, they intend to wait until Eden graduates from DeVry. I will keep you informed.

Dear Cousins -- Tomorrow marks the anniversary of Moma leaving us to be with her Lord and the rest of the family. I know how much all of you miss her and you know how very much I miss her. It's a bittersweet day because I know she is standing tall and without pain but the ache in my heart will always be there. Moma loved life and having fun so I am asking all of you to write a special memory - funny or otherwise - that you have of Pat Gracey. She was my best friend and the best mother in the world (How could she not be because she had such a great example in Fay Cusenbary!!!) Thanks in advance for all the memories. I love you all, Jody

HI COUSINS!!!! WELL HERE WE ARE!! I"VE HUGGED MY KERI AND MY MADISON. THEY BOTH LOOK WONDERFUL!! WE HAD A REALLY GOOD TRIP - SPENT THE 1st NIGHT IN GARDEN CITY, KS -- VERY NICE MOTEL BUT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS IN GRAHAM IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL OF THE ROOMS - THAT 3ft TALL BED WAS SOOO COMFORTABLE!! WE HAD BREAKFAST IN GREAT PLAINS, NE AT THE VILLAGE INN RESTURANT -- IT WAS GREAT - THEY HAD A DEAL WHERE YOU MAKE A CHOICE OF FOUR OF MANY CHOICES FOR$6.95 & I HAD 2 EGGS, SAUSAGE LINKS, 2 PANCAKES & FRUIT BOWL!! BUSTER HAD 2 EGGS, SAUSAGE, HASHBROWNS & FRENCH TOAST!! NICK DIDN'T GET THAT BUT GOT 3 PANCAKES & SAUSAGE BUT--THE KICKER WAS - IT WAS FREE PIE WEDNESDAY - SO FAR BE FROM ME TO BREAK THE CHAIN - I GOT THE KEY LIME PIE & BUSTER HAD THE LEMON PIE!! NICK DIDN'T WANT ANY--LORD I NEED THIS KID TO UNDERSTAND "FREE" . WED. NIGHT FOUND US IN BELLE FOURCHE, SD AND WE SLEPT IN BECAUSE IT WAS A SHORT DAY ON THURSDAY - WE LEFT THERE ABOUT 8am & DROVE TO BOWMAN,ND & DID WE EVER HAVE A GREAT BREAKFAST-- (I have this thing about breakfast - there is no meal as good as a breakfast on a trip) -- ANYWAY, I HAD A DENVER OMELETT WITH HAM, ONIONS, BELL PEPPERS & CHEESE, HASHBROWNS & TOAST --BUSTER HAD 2 EGGS, SAUSAGE, HASBROWNS, TOAST,--AND MISTER NICK HAD SCRAMBLED EGGS 4 LINK SAUGAGES, 2 PLATE-SIZE PANCAKES & TOPPED IT ALL OFF WITH SAUSAGE-GRAVY & BISCUITS!!! REMEMBER, HE IS A 16 YEAR OLD BOY!! THERE WAS LOTS OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION ON THE TRIP & WE HAD A LOT OF RAIN IN KANSAS. WE ARE REALLY TIRED BUT SO VERY GLAD TO BE HERE. THE BUZZ DID REALLY GOOD AND WAS THRILLED TO SEE HIS MOMA!! I'LL REPORT MORE LATER ON. BLESS ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR US!!! LOVE YOU ALL LOTS, JODY

Happy Birthday, Marissa!! I hope you are having a wonderful day today and including a visit with your sweet grandparents, too with all your cake and ice cream and other good stuff. Is it possible to get cyber stuffed on all this cake and ice cream we are celebrating with today with two birthdays? No...on second thought, it's a genetic thing to be enjoying however much desserts we can whether it's the real stuff or computer generated - lol!

Amazing isn't it how quickly the time flies by. One minute they are just born, tiny little infants in their mother's arms for the first time, then meeting their great aunt Lala, and then Boom!! They are six years old, going into first grade knowing all their sight words from kindergarten and delighting the world around them with their beautiful smiles. Yes, she is all that and more.
